Before masks were the hottest fashion accessories and social distancing was a sign of true friendship, Toon Lissens and Wouter De Bock were just good friends who spent their time visiting crowded venues and discovering new musical inspiration all over Ghent (BE). Since 2006 Wouter, has been bringing his postrock passion to life with his band ’nobu.’, an allusion to the Japanese word for trust and joy, while Toon in 2012, began writing and releasing ambient songs as ‘Soals’, an atmospheric experience inspired by astronautics.
