About Tommy the Unsentimental
Tommy the Unsentimental is a Baltimore-based indie rock band, formed in late 2009 by songwriter Lorin Pinder with bassist Samantha Manchester and drummer Ryan Gibson of Kitsch. Named after a short story by Willa Cather, their songs weave history with the mythology of Lorin's own life and have been compared to artists as diverse as the Pixies, the Decemberists, Fiona Apple, and Nirvana. Currently the band is on hiatus as they prepare for an east coast tour in August.
