Tom Meighan (born 11 January 1981 in Leicester) is an English musician, best known as the former lead vocalist for alternative rock band Kasabian. Meighan was the lead vocalist of Kasabian from the band's inception in Leicester in 1997, appearing on the majority of the band's recordings. He left the band in April 2020, pleading guilty the following day to assaulting his ex-fiancée, Vikki Ager. He was sentenced to 200 hours of community service and issued a public apology for his behavior the same day
