
Born to a Mexican mother and American father, Tom Kessler began to play music at an early age in his hometown of Guadalajara, Mexico. As a teenager, he lived in Texas where he was exposed to the blues. Since 2010, he became involved in the jazz and improvisation scene of Mexico City. His work reflects a diverse array of influences such as jazz, experimental, Latin American, electronic music and more. He has recorded as a leader and sideman in solo
