About Tom Chang
TOM CHANG jazz guitar Born is Seoul, South Korea in 1965, Tom's family immigrated to Toronto Canada two years later. Tom began taking guitar lessons at the age of 12 in Vancouver, Canada studying classical guitar technique with Ron Phillips. His musical interests quickly turned to the more electric side of the guitar being heavily influenced by Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix which ultimately lead to the pursuit of improvised music in the form of blues and jazz.
