About Tom Bruins
Tom Bruins is a Dutch musician, songwriter and singer from The Netherlands, originally from Arnhem, but now based in Rotterdam. Bruins' 2025 debut album, Waiting for the Rain, is heavily inspired by concept albums and rock operas from the 1960s and 1970s, as well as the works of Brian Wilson, Van Dyke Parks, Nilsson and the like (yes, even Queen). Bruins recorded his album with the help of Philip Kars (toetsen), Yorick van Norden (gitaar), Kees Schaper (drums), Reyer Zwart (basgitaar) and Frans Hagenaars (recording/production).
