Todd Steed and the Suns of Phere are a perennial Pop/Rock gods in Knoxville, TN. The group more or less came out of the indie quasi-legends Smokin' Dave and the Premo Dopes. They Suns of Phere and perform Southern flavored music with wry, but hilarious and timely songs often referring to something going on in the world of the Sunsphere City. Newer songs show a exploration of sorts, both musically and geographically- often far from the reaches of East Tennessee.
