
Tikuna (also known as Ticuna) performed on a production entitled "união dos povos" (unity of people), which was a project of COIAB (Coordination of Indigenous Organizations of the Brazilian Amazon) and IPDP (Demonstration Projects for Indigenous Peoples). The production contained recordings of songs from four ethnic groups in Amazonas, sung by indigenous people living in the city of Manaus. Formerly, the Ticuna occupied the headwaters and central courses of small tributaries on the left side of the Amazon River and its headwaters
