Through Darkness(www.myspace.com/throughdarknessband) is a portuguese Extreme/Progressive/Melodic Death Metal band.Formed in 2005 by Bruno "Shark" Pereira (Screams & Growls,lyrics)and Elvio Rodrigues (Guitars,Drum Programming,Flute and Clean Vocals),the band is currently recording the tracks to their first Demo,to be released in the summer of 2007.The lyrics are mostly based on Finnish & Scandinavian mythology and the instrumental side is complex and melodic,varying between beautiful/sorrowful melodies,acoustic folkish guitar and brutal riffs.
