About Thisbe Vos
Thisbe Vos was born in Laren, The Netherlands. Involved with music from a young age, she joined the English swing band The Jive Aces at seventeen and has toured over 30 cities in America and Europe, performing at clubs, music festivals and radio and TV shows. As a songwriter, she focuses on writing original jazz songs in the style of the traditional jazz standards. She is set to release her first studio album, “Sophistication”, on 16 September 2011, which will include her original compositions as well as established standards.
