From Pontypridd, the hometown of Tom Jones, hail THELIXX. An indie pop band reminiscent of Fickle Friends, their elevator pitch of “Blending the Stone Roses with Billie Eilish” perfectly defines the mix of indie and pop so articulately embedded within their music. The band founded their vibrant sound with pop icon Roy Stride of Scouting for Girls and producer Alex Oldroyd (Kaiser Chiefs, James Blunt). Front man Curt, guitarist Lewis and drummer Shae founded the outfit while still in high school, initially with a sound closer to The Smiths.
