About The Wyvern
WYVERN was formed in November 2003 by Allegiance band members Hameed Sabry and Marwan Shaaban as an idea for a new heavy metal project with the aim to cover favorite metal songs. Hameed and Marwan agreed to work with long time friends Seif El-Din Moussa and Sherif Alaa former members of the band Wheels of Fire. The four players met in the studio to discuss the new project formation, direction of music and future goals. The name WYVERN was decided a few days later after a series of brain storming sessions.
