About The Wrong Reasons
The Wrong Reasons is a Wilco-inspired Americana band from Utrecht, The Netherlands, established in 2021. Core members, Roel Jorna and Jeroen Pelgrom, were previously in Utrecht-based bands such as Gloricz Jim, Action Park, The Gasoline Brothers and Pondertone. The Wrong Reasons' sound is heavily influenced by early 1990s indie and jangle rock, and Wilco in particular. The band released three singles thus far: a Christmas single (2018) and two more (including a Wilco cover) in 2021. As per 2025, they are working on their debut album.
