About The Writers
The Writers came together due to mutual friendships and a common interest in different music styles, in November 2007. Paul and Ian were the initial founders of the then The Cardboard Cut-outs. A few days after, the band had found their bassist, Jack, this was Jacks first time playing bass and proved to be up to the challenge. After finding out that the name, The Cardboard Cut-outs, was already copyrighted, we then went on to come up with another name, thus The Writers where born.
