About The Woods Band
The Woods Band was a critically well-regarded Irish folk-rock band formed in 1970 by husband-and-wife folk Gay Woods and Terry Woods after their departure from Steeleye Span. Performing for four years, the line-up evolved into Gay & Terry Woods. Subsequently, in 2001, Terry Woods formed a version of The Woods Band which performed and recorded through 2003. The original line-up, with Ed Deane and Pat Nash, released only one album - the self-entitled Woods Band.
