About The Wooden Ships
The Wooden Ships was started by Robert LeRoy in Fraser, Michigan while attending Fraser High School. Basically just a bunch of alternating random people getting together and making lo-fi recordings, the band had a bunch of names including "Airedale", "The Gemini Project", and "Pre-Corporate". The name "The Wooden Ships" comes from the Jefferson Airplane/CSNY song: Wooden Ships. The current line-up consists of: Robert LeRoy (Guitars/Vocals), Andrew DuBeau (Bass/Vocals) and, Trevor Armstrong (Drums).
