About The Waxbills
The Waxbills - Hailing from Niagara Falls Ontario, this 3 piece alternative rock band formed in early 2008. Lead singer and guitarist Nathan Warriner, drummer Brandon Ainsley and bassist Johnny Albers, formed The Waxbills after touring around as Warriner’s solo act from 2006 to late 2007. Sitting on a slew of material, The Waxbills wasted no time getting into the studio and in June 2008 the band recorded their 1st full length record at Grant Avenue Studios with legendary producer/engineer Joe Shugan (Lone Rhino Productions).
