The Wall Of Fur was originally conceived in 1997 by Nottingham underground luminary William C. Short as a solo outlet for his self-styled 'retro-neurotic/melancholic' outpourings with accompanying 'neon drenched soundtracks'. Initially influenced by the then current London 'noir' band Gallon Drunk, the film soundtracks of Ennio Morricone, mid 1960's garage punk and a never ending list of cinematic and literary references, the 'band' were active from the years 1997 - 2000.
