About The Vulpes
While the indie scene is very small in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, Vulpes along with other local bands such as Dignan are one of the pioneers of the indie scene in the area. Vulpes plays a unique blend of post-punk, shoegaze, and indie rock in their material with a sound similar to Galaxie 500, The Smiths, Pixies, and other similar artists. So far, they have only released one full-length album called “Nothing Special” which can be downloaded for free on bandcamp.
