About The Very Personal Trainers
The Very Personal Trainers are an alternative rock band from Millburn, New Jersey consisting of Eric Shepard (vox, rhythm guitar), Michael Matchen (lead guitar), Charlie Marshall (bass) and Rob Goldman (drums). They play some covers, but mostly play original rock songs. The band is very versatile stylistically, and often include a variety of styles, such as funk, metal, punk, and even dub-step in their music. The band came to be when Eric Shepard, a veteran of the North Dakota alternative rock scene, moved to Millburn.
