About The Verses
The Verses are a country/folk duo comprised of former Killing Heidi stars Ella Hooper and her brother Jesse. In 2009, the band released their first self-titled EP which peaked at #11 on the ARIA Australian Physical Single Charts. Their debut album, Seasons, released in 2010, reached #13 on the ARIA Australian Album Charts. Artists such as Neil Young, Van Morrison and Fleetwood Mac have been cited as some of the biggest influences in shaping the band's sound. The Verses are currently on hiatus indefinitely as Ella pursues a solo career.
