The Vermont Sugar House are songwriters Martin King and David Platten and sometime collaborator Richard jones, all formerly of Manchester jangle pop kings, The Desert Wolves, plus a collective of creative and talented friends and acquaintances representing a return to the values of indie pop - a world away from the current Brits, sponsored by Mastercard, world of corporate musical tedium. The Vermont Sugar House are pure pop for now and then people.
