The Velvet Supernova is a Latvian rock band from Rīga, Latvia. The band was formed in 2010 by lead singer Jēkabs Zemzaris and guitarist Mārtiņš Rudzītis. Driven by strong musicianship, great vision and even greater ambition, The Velvet Supernova present a tempting combo of alternative rock bombast, anthemic melodies, a dash of electronica and contrasting acoustic ambience.
