The Uncle Steves is the project of Chicago-based multi-instrumentalist Chris Picciuolo. The idea arose after house sitting for a friend during the Summer of 2010, when Chris decided to gather whatever instruments he had from home (a drum set, a really old Casio, some random percussion), used his friend's bass guitar, amp and rock band microphone, and recorded his first album entitled, "Live From Dan's Basement" over the course of about two weeks, in the nude.
