The Unbecoming is a Melodic Death Metal band based in Central United States, Iowa. In mid 2009 The Unbecoming was established by the two founding members of the band, Steev (vocals/lyrics) and Cody Shaffer (Guitars). The Unbecoming is the result of several previous bands formed by the two members of the band since 2007. The band went through some lineup changes, according to the bio posted on their myspace page they have stated “The Unbecoming is first and final”.
