About The UBA
The UBA was an indie power pop band in Dallas, TX. The band was started as Honor Among Thieves in 2003, with Brandon "Pip" Pinson on guitar and vocals and Richard Keller on bass. In 2005, after a Myspace message from another band with the same name, Brandon and Richard decided to change the name to The Unoriginal Bastard Assembly, or The UBA, inspired by a mutual liking for the comedy troupe Upright Citizens Brigade. In early 2006, Brandon Butters joined on drums.
