About The Truffles
Lesley Rostron was born in Valdez, Alaska and spent her first few years in a log cabin her father built. She began playing piano, singing, and writing poetry at an early age, picking up guitar in her teens. A gifted mimic with a phonographic memory, she could sing hundreds of popular songs by the time she played her first professional gig at age 14 with her father's rock band in a local Alaskan pub. By the time she was 17 she had formed her first original rock band, The Truffles. Her first CD, "Truffula", became a regional hit in 1998.
