About The Tommy Shreve Band
About Tommy Tommy was born in Lake Charles, LA in 1950 into a family that loved music. Mable & Junior's small but potent record collection included Bob Wills, Elvis, Louis Prima, Buck Owens, and even Herb Alpert. Tommy caught the bug early and never recovered. He joined his first group in '64 as a high school freshman singing with classmates in a folk quartet. He soon learned to play guitar and talked Mable and Junior into buying his first guitar in 1966.
