The Threads of Grass started in Ann Arbor, MI and are now based Portland, OR. Sun Tunnels is their first album. It features musicians from Nomo, Outrageous Cherry, Inside Voices, Pas/Cal, Electric Six, and the Volebeats. In the summer of 2006, they filmed a tour of land art sites in the western U.S. for an upcoming movie.
