The Threadbare Orchestra was formed in November of 2008, when Americana enthusiast C.R. Jones ventured into the basement of derelict mathematician J.E. McClure, on the pretext of caring for a doomed cat. Whatever he may have discovered amidst the dusty electronics, he could surely describe it better than I. Several weeks later, a meeting between the parties was arranged, and it was agreed that a drummer (drummers being in short supply) should be kidnapped and forced to perform.
