About The Syndrome Institute
Also known as, The Syndrome Institute of Gina Jinx, is an electric sola band. She first began recording music meditatively in 2004 in her bedroom with hand held tape recorders, her mother’s childhood acoustic guitar, and throwaway keyboards. Her primary interest in music making is the endless and fascinating possibility of layering sound and (of course) a strong drive to exercise her Girl Pop Wisdom. Despite her parents’ strong musical presence in her life (both are retired opera singers) she Instead hides away in her room
