About The Strookas
The Strookas are a 3-piece rock band from Kent, England. The bands original line up between 1986-1990 was Cliff Bailey on bass, David Bloomfield on guitar and John Edwards on drums and lead vocals. Influenced by Husker Du, Radio Birdman and The Ramones, The Strookas released a couple of early EP singles including "Summer to Fall" in 1990. The band line up changed in 1991 when Cliff left the band and Tony O'Rourke joined. In 1992 the band's sound became harder and louder and the lyrics more serious.
