The Stray Birds, an American folk band, started as a duo of acoustic buskers in early 2010 when Maya de Vitry and Oliver Craven (originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania) met with their instruments, their voices, and their songs When the band take the stage, the spotlight falls on three voices raised in harmony above the raw resonance of wood and strings. It is a sound drawn from the richness of American folk music traditions, spun with a stirring subtlety and grace.
