The Stick is an Art/Electro/Rap duo from Vancouver B.C. that formed in January 2010. Their primary influences include Extreme Animals, Boards of Canada, and Egyptian Lover. With "FayJay" on vox, guitars, and percussion and "Rolls Merce" on electronics, vox, guitars, effects and percussion, their live performances involve the layering of energetic live instrumentation and vocals overtop of controlled electronic musical compositions. Members have performed in the bands the Emanglons, Kick Evrything, Sharkforce, Liquor Mountain, Chine, John C.
