Indie/experimental/rock band from Buffalo, New York, formed in 2000. The Stay Lows are starting to gain some national following after being invited on tour by Built To Spill in the summer of 2007. They played in Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC to a great response. Mostly instrumental, The Stay Lows embrace the concept of images through sound, and the existence of a midpoint between pretentious and geek. The Stay Lows blend elements of math-rock with symphonic song structures, all encased in a seemingly simple display of pop.
