About The Stars Of Heaven
Great neglected Dublin 80's 4 piece which featured the writing talents of Steven Ryan and Stan Erraught. Originally compared to American contemporaries like the Long Ryders, despite the fact that they earned the approval of John Peel, they always appeared ill at ease with the record industry. Influenced by the Velvet Underground, Johnny Cash and Big Star they remain one of Ireland's most enduring if least recognised contributions to music.
