About The Starlets
There must have been more than 10 groups that recorded as The Starlets. 1. The Starlets were a female group from New Jersey formed in 1959, singing pop and doo-wop. They recorded the singles "P.S. I Love You / Where Is My Love Tonight" and "Romeo & Juliet / Listen For A Lonely Tambourine" for the Astro label in the early 1960s. Members went on to become The Angels. 2. The Starlets were a 1960s girl group that recorded for the legendary Chess label.
