The Sound of Her Wings was a post-rock project, consisting of Ash Shields, Regan Hay, Teja Howell, Sam Carswell, and a few other musicians. The Sound of Her Wings is based in New Zealand. To date, Shields has posted one demo of "Released Into the Soothing Embrace of Sleep" on his blog, and has uploaded a demo of "Sometimes, It's Better to Be Lost" here on last.fm, available for free download. The Sound of Her Wings unofficially disbanded in late 2011
