About the Sombrofons
The Sombrofons band was formed in unclear circumstances. There are many contradictory accounts of the origins of the band. In one interview (TumblingStone magazine- 2015), the founder of the band, Szymon "Szymoł" Bętkoski, admitted that he met the drummer of the band, Patryk "Ciepiel" Ciepieleski, during a disco polo concert at the harvest festival in Suchowola. The first period of the band's activity (2011-2012) is referred to as the "Pre-instrumental era".
