About the skates
The Skates are a skate-punk parody group from Lubbock, Texas. After seeing the film Harold and Kumar, the members "Dan-Man Flash Grenade", "Danny Hawk" and the notorious "Mikhail Michael Mitchel-stork" decided they wanted to make music that completely embodies the mind-set of the Extreme Sports Punks in the movie. The Extreme Sports Punks were particular obsessed with Mountain Dew, therefore the band begun their exploits by created the title track "Mountain Dew Army" of the album of the same title.
