The Skalinskis are a collective of vagabonds and drunks who escaped persecution in their former homelands and hid in the underground slums of Stoke on Trent. Late at night they wander the streets telling tales of home playing music for food and booze. When they corner an audience in a dark alley they play a fusion of eastern european folk music with upbeat dub and ska, enough to make any scared and cornered city dweller perform the most beautiful of skanks.
