About The Sidewalk
The Sidewalk were an instrumental band from Berlin, Germany. Influenced by artists as diverse as Pink Floyd, John Lee Hooker, James Brown and Miles Davis they played a fusion of jazz, blues and funk. The band was founded in the fall of 2006 by Tobias Riedel (drums) and William Schellenberg (keyboards, guitar). They soon were joined by Nhat Tuyen Vo Dieu (saxophone) and Kai Pauldrach (bass) calling themselves The Happy Hookers. After a few local gigs
