About The Shillelaghs
The Shillelaghs are a seven member Celtic folk - punk band, based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The band writes original happy music about some of the darker things in life - death, piracy, lost brotherhood, bleeding in the ocean, drinking, dying at sea, being killed on a boat, more drinking - and some of the not so dark - more drinking, standing up for yourself and against abuse, the good old days, and far away lands.
