About The Shelter People
The Shelter People, name courtesy from the late Leon Russell, are an American rock band formed in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2016. The group consists of guitarist/lead vocalist Dakota Hurley, bassist and back up vocalist Garon Burch, and drummer Justin Dennis. Their style draws mostly from the blues rock bands of the late 60s and early 70s.
