About The Sharons
Beatgroep uit Maastricht, vernoemd naar Sharon Warfel uit Milwaukee, Wisconsin, de penvriendin van bandoprichter Jef Ubachs. De band kent verschillende bezettingen met onder meer Frans Theunisz (Nachroaf F. Theunisz) als drummer. Van 1967 tot eind 1969 bestaat de band uit het trio Harry Heltzel (1947-2008), Jo Robeers (zang, basgitaar) en Pierre Beckers (zang, gitaar). In 1969 komt latere producer Erwin Musper de band versterken op mondharmonica en toetsen. De band gaat over in Opus, de voorloper van Partner.
