From deep within the soils of McNally Smith College of Music comes The Shade Colonists. It all started as simple jam sessions between solo artist Jimmy Byrne and aspiring professional musician, Chris Piette. From this, a bond was formed, that proved as a foundation for the awesomeness that was about to emerge. Two practices in, they realized they were seriously missing something. That sexiness that can only be brought by a bass guitar. They cried out across countries, scanning for anybody that could help.
