The Savage Juliet was a NYC-based Indie Rock band. They began in 2002 as a duo of guitarist Scott Johnson and vocalist Kate Dwyer. From initially playing songs in Dwyer's living room, they quickly rose through the Indie scene in NYC. After their first show at The Cutting Room, they decided to record a 10-track CD keeping a lo-fi sound using the trap kit, played by drummer Chad Pearson, and bass played by Scott Magin. Pearson stayed in The Savage Juliet the whole time, being both an office manager and drummer simultaneously.
