The San Sebastian Strings were a studio orchestra that collaborated with composer Anita Kerr (Born: 31 October 1927 in Memphis, Tennessee) and spoken word poet Rod McKuen on a number of mood music albums between 1967 and 1975. These were generally concept albums based on the classical elements (The Earth, The Sky, The Sea) and the seasons (Spring, Summer, Winter), combining easy listening music with environmental sound effects and the soothing narration of McKuen.
