About The Ryabinin narrators
The famous dynasty of Ryabinins, epic song (bylinas) narrators who lived in the Kizhi Volost of the Petrozavodsk district (Russia). Bylinas are a traditional form of orally transmitted Old Russian and Russian heroic narrative poetry.
