The Ruminants were a San Diego- based melodic punk band, lasting from 2000-2007. The band released a few full lengths, "Eight Arms To Rock You" which features the super mega-hit "Shelley Leville," an ode to hating public cellphone usage, "Hercules", EP, and a split 7" with other locals Sk8 or Die before disbanding. During their active years, they were probably most known locally for their song "Shelley Levelle" off of EIGHT ARMS TO ROCK YoU, a live version which is still available on their myspace page.
